I wanted to share my anodizing experience with the paintball community.
Quite often when we are not happy with something we are make sure other know about it, I like to share my positive experiences as well.
I wanted to get my shocker anodized similar to a marker I already own. The last ano I had was done by one of our sponsors and the one I had before that is no longer in the business so I did not know where to turn. I came across a link to gruntbull anodizing and really liked what I saw on their site (especially the pricing and turn around time).
I made the inquiry and within the day I had a price quote and mailing instructions.
I also received via email very clear instructions how to send the marker, along with an order form and reference number that kept everything organized and clear.
I like to stay in contact and whenever I did Emails were answers fast and polite.
I sent out a disassembled shocker on September 16th, 4 weeks later to the day (including shipping times and weekends) the shocker was back at my door. I received A true work of art.
I must add that the sample I sent them was just a printed picture of my current team edition cyborg. They matched the colors to the T however their camo pattern is simply amazing.
They explained that they use a true to form camo pattern. And the masking they did it like nothing I’ve seen before. Some job looks great from a distance but this marker looks clean and sharp even under a magnifying glass.
Take note that the CP reg is 3 separate pieces; look at the detail work, the seamless transitions
There is not a single flaw on the entire marker, throughout any of the colors. They appear rich and solid.
Masking was done in even places unlikely to be noticed.
Here is the sample I provided them with:

Shocker was solid black, more final pictures:
I just wanted to say Thank You to grunt bull anodizing for a job well done. Good luck with your new business and I hope others give you the shot it did.
