you can use oil on your ram. the bolt is delrin, you don't need to lube it.
To take the gun apart, take off those 4 screws, take off the eye covers, then take off the screw in the trigger frame, right in the finger guard/trigger area. Then it should slide apart.

to turn the eyes off, you hold the button for half a second, then fire. it should turn the eyes off. if you can't get that down, you can just turn it into simulate mode. eye menu, 4 blinks.

First download Acrobat Reader and the Manual. You MUST have it to set your gun up correctly!
The easy sequence for turning off the eyes is
1. Turn the board on- solid orange.
2. Tap the trigger once- slow flashing green.
3. Tap the on/off button once (1/2 second)- rapid flashing red.
4. Fire- slow flashing orange
with a little practice it can be done in 1 second.
If this doesn't work. Turn the board off. Now put the trigger up to your ear and listen for the engagement of the micro-switch by the trigger. You should here a click, if not, then you need to adjust the trigger until it engages the switch. Use small turns on the set screw. This may take some time to figure out. If you do get a click then you're wiring harness may not be plugged in all the way or it could be plugged in backwards. There may be a crimped or broken wire or the harness might be bad.

Should be in programming mode ONLY if you turned it on WHILE pulling the trigger.
Rapid green means there is something in the breech and that the eyes are working.
Push the button for 1/2 a second or so and it should go to blinking orange, meaning eyes are off.
Keep your fingers OFF the trigger while turning it on or off or turning the eyes off.

When you turn the gun on (not holding the trigger down) you get a solid orange light. You must then wait 3 seconds before pushing the button again (1/2 second) to de-activate the eyes. However, by tapping the trigger once right after the board is turned on you can go immediately to the 1/2 second button push to de-activate the eyes. Try it it works and saves a couple of seconds when done quickly.

Try this, no air, push the bolt forward into the breech. Turn on the gun (do not touch the trigger). Now pull the trigger listening for the solenoid click. If you do not hear a definite electronic click from the solenoid then it's not getting electrical current. That could be caused by any of the conditions I mentioned.
