Serial number on Illusion Pro?

Does anyone know where the serial number is located on the Illusion Pro. I just got one off ebay and don't seem to be able to find any. I checked under the drop forward and under the grip but nothing. I am confused, were serial numbers put on these?

usually were found underneith the grip frame

Ok maybe I'm just ignorant but where exactly? I took off the drop forward and removed the rubber grip but still couldn't find any numbers. Thanks.

you have to take the grip frame from the gun, it is between the receiver and the grip frame.

It's kind of a strange place for them to put the serial. Mine is 000053.

good - I was worried as that was one of the first run of those and the only 2 reasons I could think they would still have it would be QC issues or a return - those were all sold out the same week of the first run

The Illusion and Illusion Pros are most certainly Bob's handywork. My Pro is one of the early ones, and still swaps paint with the best of them.

Did you take the grip off, you need to take it off the main body to see the serial.

yes sir i did.. i don't see any... the person i got it from also mentioned that it was a pre serial number marker

Guess it's an older model then, I don't really know if it's worth any more then any other but they sure are fun to play with
