Thumbs up Lighter Bolts!

i have noticed when i have my gun on ramping it has alot of kick and i was thinking instead of using metal for the sweep on the bolt thatt someone could make one completly out of delrin or that weird stuff thats even lighter(forgot the name of material). but if someone could make that i think it would make the kick reduced to extrem amounts and yes i do know the ram does incoparate into the kick but i still think that the bolt would help alot. so if anyone would make some i would definately buy a few. and im sure i wouldnt be the only one

in addition to the above, if you do have an interceptor, try buying a timmy volumizer. that will let you lower your lpr which in turn will reduce some kick. Or if your marker is well broken-in, reduce the lpr a little and see what happens.

yeah...

my lpr is at 80, i know that they do make a max flow kit that lowers the lpr 20 more and how much would a intimi lpr drop it

Is nylatron really that much lighter? IMO, my 06-style bolt is light enough, and I have almost no kick. I think the best place to start lowering reciprocating mass (short of installing a balanced valve) would be to make a delrin/nylatron pullpin.

yeah, pullpins do quite a bit, it's suprising. My friend dropped his ego's lpr 15 psi when he put his delrin boltpin on it

Lower psi most if time doesn't mean better performance just keep that in mind. I could have run the LPR in my Empire2 at 55psi just fine, but it was much more consistent at 80.

lower lpr with the same consistency, might i say. I'm stuck between having no kick and not such amazing consistency or having very noticeable kick, but a consistent mofo...

I prefer superb consistency with a little kick, it helps that first shot hit its mark.

Which reminds me, I have to fine tune my BIP delay, because my gun is burping, and I have to tune the fsdo

u could just drill holes in the top part of the metal maybe....it might make it lighter and i assume it wont hurt performance
