The line in Arabic says "Terrorism has no Religion"
Although I'm kind of doubtful of how effect it will actually be, it is a good idea.

That's where some debate is actually. It is done by a private company in the US and although the State Department denies any involvement, it would not come as a suprise given their track record in Iraq.
I first saw an article in the Chicago Tribune, but I can't find it on their website.

This is apparently going a little rogue. A domain report and whois report both show the registrant as "private" and it is set up through godaddy.com then through a proxy host. These are steps taken to ensure annominimity.
This is very excessive. It could be based in Loveland, Co; Arizona(which I believe is the proxy server host location) or DC.
Sounds a little fishy to me..

So, you never heard about the defense department implanting stories into Iraqi media, or the network set up to counter al jazeera by the U.S. government?

It is not that far fetched. We as a government use propaganda all over the world. We are using it in Iraq now, as well as numerous other places.

they have used domainsbyproxy to cover any trace. This is the same site used by mozillasucks.com (which is presumed to be Microsoft operated) as well as numerous "phishing" sites that steal your info.
This is obviously either a private company or the Federal governement, both of which do not want to be connected to this sort of message.

Telling the Mozilla corporation their products sucks is a whole lot less dangerous than an add campaign targeting terrorists.
I wouldn't want my name and address linked to that site either.

Very good point. Or if it is the US's doing, not having their name stuck on the end of it is a good thing as far as the agenda goes.

Absolutely nothing, I think it is a good thing. But it would lose credibility in Muslim nations if the United States government was the one putting it out.

That must have actually had a pretty decent budget for a commercial. That 360 degree slow motion rotation around the explosion isn't cheap.
Pretty realistc, although that car falling out of the sky toward the end? Yea.... that was a bit much.

From the article I read in the Chicago Tribune it seemed like they had a good chunk of cash.
And to jasonlvandyke, stop calling Ahmenijihad president Tom. And his media would never run like this commercial. Are you serious?
