Unhappy Selenoid Leak! Help!!

Ok, i gased up my 06 interceptor and it was leaking. Upon taking it apart i found air to be coming out of the bottom of the selenoid. Any ideas on the problem, i didn't want to fool with it.

1. Check the pressure on the gauge to make sure the LPR isn't set too high or creeping, causing the noid to vent.
2. Make sure the screws which secure the noid to the ram housing are tight.
3. Are you absolutely certain that the leak is coming from the noid/gasket/ram housing connection? There are other possible leak sources in the back of the gun.

You may have a blown seal in the solenoid. If you're not comfortable attempting to rebuild it send the gun in to Jack.

I checked the guage, the screws are secure, and the air is coming our of the small holes on the bottom of the selenoid, so im thinking its the seal in the solenoid

Sounds like it. Is this a MAC or Humphrey solenoid? I don't think we've heard of a Mac noid having a problem yet.

Is the solenoid cycling?

If no, then you noid has failed(could be for various reason) you'll have to get a new one.

If yes, then it is your seals not holding possilby some dow33 might work.

Either case you'll probably just want a new noid I never heard of a rebuild kit for the humprey manifolds. You can get Noids from Jack so fill out a RMA on the alienpb website.
