The universal ghetto speedfeed mod.

Description. This mod puts a ghetto speed feed into the stock lid, allowing you to both have a spped feed and top off your hopper in the pit to have higher capacity on the break unlike the original halo/revvy ghetto speed feed mod I posted that has become so popular. It works on any hopper besides the evolution series(look in official egg mod thread for info on the egg speed feed).

Materials:
drill ar dremmel
1/8 inch bit
sandpaper or sanding bit
a little super glue or epoxy.
scissors
your stock lid.
One of these

Directions:
Take apart the hopper and remover the lid.
Using the drill perforate the edge of the lid on the inside of where it gets thicker and grips onto the shell. put the holes as close together as you can and go all the way around.
Now put the drill on high, put it in one of the holes and push against the plastic that is between that hole and the next until it pops through, connecting the holes.
Continue all the way around until the center circle falls out.
now with sandpaper or a sanding bit if you have one smooth out all the edges so that paint doesn't get cut up.
Take the snack trap and cut it like shown in the pics.
assemle as shown in pics and super glue in place.
reassemble the hopper

funny story.... my mom found it in a parking lot way back when i first made the original speed feed thread. if you look at the distributer's website they are really clear. in fact the only reason that I was able to make this thread was that their website was molded on the thing

I have been informed that tennis ball container caps fit snugly onto revvis, so they should work on halos too.

if you stick a rubberband around the outside of the lid on a halo/reloader b a pringles lid works perfecly once you cut it up.

if that is a pringles lid I am going to e-slap you lol. those work well for now, but the plastic is too brittle to work well. That and they don't fit. The stacks lids do, and I messed with those based off the ten round tube speed feeds with my boss, but we eventually gave up in them as they broke in play so often

nah man this works amazing ill post a vid when i make one, this is lays stackable is thsi is really strong and good, i'd rather use this than spend 20 buks for a speefeed any day

all you need is to hit that on a table, or have something break a prong off in a gearbag or something and you are screwed.

as i have said before when I was working as a ref in 04 my boss figured out that a Lay's stackers lid fit onn perfectly an dcut out a rough speedfeed, after we messed with it for a bit we broek it, so we grabbed andother one, and another one..... After a few days of messing around with the idea eventually the whole lot wound up in the garbage. it simply doesn't worl, or the speedfeed would have hit the nation in 04, not 06.

I just got my Halo tonight and I took the lid off a can of tennis balls .. it fits perfectly. I highly doubt this will come off during normal play. Now I just gotta figure out how to cut it neatly.

I found out about that tennis ball can idea a few weeks ago, and I informed flightcancled. Problem I found with it was the durability. It breaks extremely easily after a few games. Not very practical IMO.

I just made two of these, one out of a Penn tennis ball can cap and one from a Wilson one. The Wilson cap is thicker so it's sturdier and should last longer but it's more difficult to load balls in than the Penn one.

Those were my exact findings, except if you play ruff with them they might break, or at least the Penn one will. Although they are extremely cheap, and quick to make.

about 4 pringle canister lids should be enough for an eggy two triangular pieces frum each and the plastic is just right

The Wilson tennis ball lids work great i made about 5 for my team as someone said before thjere a little thick but work great if cut properly adn the Penn are to small to fit and break real easy so i dont recomend them. Pringels lids are little to big stackables were a little too big and thats all ive tested right now. Wilson seam to work the best i got about 10 of them Lol we went dumpster diving at the tennis courts.

Can u take a pic of how you cut it? Also which pods do you use?

I'm using dye locklids and I can't dump an entire pod into the hopper through a Wilson lid I made.
