Ok so i have an ion with 360 qev, L6 bolt, and my dwell is at 15. I also have low pressure PMI 45/45 Tank.

What happens is the first shot is fast and at the right velocity but the shots that follow are all eratic. if i shoot fast it picks up then drops off then pick up again.

I thought it was my reg so i switched from my Detonator reg to the stock. It still did the same thing.

Can't figure out. I've cleaned and relubed all, replaced o-rings, changed batteries, checked solenoid for debris, nothing has worked. I'm am wondering if i need a new board because mine is going.

Any ideas would be great, thanks.

1) Replace the battery.

2) Increase the dwell. Try using the stock setting (52 blinks with stock board, 34 milliseconds with aftermarket board), or if you have a QEV you can try it at 16 or more blinks (16 or more milliseconds with aftermarket board).

3) Clean and regrease the regulator. This is most often the cause.

4) Clean and regrease the firing assembly and solenoid. Be sure not to overgrease or undergrease the o-rings, as either can cause the problem.

5) Make sure your tank is screwed in as far as possible.
