I would guess that you did not have the wedge that holds the hopper secure far enough to the right (open). I would imagine it was too far to the left and blocking the hopper feed tube form entering the feed neck. I have found it helps to tip the gun to the right to assure that wedge stays in it's most recessed position when putting the hopper on. My ReloaderB's fit extremely snug but did not require any sanding to fit.
Now for my question:
1. I found I broke a fair amount of paint yesterday. I am hoping this is due to brittle paint and not due to my concerns over the venturi porting of the bolt. I have not adjusted the LPR pressure at this point to see if I can softent the impact or attempted the soft nose mod (as of this moment, anyway). I was a bit concerned when I got back and was cleaning the gun to see how much paint had entered through the eye holes and was on the back of the circuit board. I assume these boards are sealed to some extent and there is no need to worry about the eye boards shorting out?
2. Are there spare parts available yet? I really don't want to attempt to modify the bolt without knowing I can easily get a replacement should I get a bit too enthusiastic with the Dremel..... I was also debating on superglueing a soft rubber pad to the entire front of the bolt and cutting holes for the venturis.

ya i figured out that it just needs a little more force then normal to get it in. thanks for the help. and i aswell had alot of paint issues as well as inconsistant velocity issues. i was using paint from MAO that we were having trouble wiht down there so im jsut assuming the paint was really brittle. also is it safe to asume that my inconsistant and low velocity is due to the regs not being broken in yet?

1. Yes the Boards have a protective coating to help prevent shorts that can potentially damage the board.
2. Placing a Pad is NOT a good idea. The Bolt already sits flush in the breech and adding a pad will only serve as a blockage that will prevent balls from dropping into the firing position. If you were to do that you'd first have to take down the face of the bolt to compensate for the depth of the pad you'd be using.

That could be the issue. Brittle paint is brittle paint. About the ony remedy for that is a 2k2 Bodied Timmy since they are gentler on paint.

If I cut the spring short... Will it wear down the microswitch?

Yes, hold the trigger in as you slide the frame back onto the body. If not it can get caught by the LPR which keeps it from dropping down into it's normal position.

That shouldn't do anything to the micrositch but the spring is plenty light as is. Bare in mind this is an "At Your Own Risk" thing to do so BLAST will not be liable if any damage should occur on your microswitch.

That did it. I also needed to back out the screws a tad bit.
Thanks!

Ducky if you removed the trigger spring then it will go full-auto when you go semi. Put the Spring back in. you can get a really good feel with the spring if you do the trigger right
