Angel1 vs. Onyx

hey guys,

right now i am contemplating on getting an onyx or an Angel 1. I have actually held tha A1 and it was the lighest gun on the face of the earth. i have no idea how it shoots so maybe someone who has had experience with both can help me out.

i am looking for:

OX weight vs. A1 weight
OX accuracy vs. A1 accuracy
OX kick vs. A1 kick
OX speed vs. A1 speed
OX board vs. A1 board
OX feel vs. A1 feel

and so forth.

thanks so much for the help.

If someone writes an onyx review I can write an A1 review, I did an A1 vs. a empire 2 about a month ago.

"Its safe to say the A1 board completley outperforms anything else out as of yet so thats a start."

I'll do more if you want, I've now shot almost 20 cases through my A1

Those are the only two new guns on the market I'd shoot right now. But after taking one look at Onyx internals compared to A1 internals, the Onyx should be the logical choice. The only thing the A1 really does better is (supposedly)shoot super-brittle paint without chopping as much. And when I say super-brittle, I mean Hellfire put on ice, where it breaks if you drop it from a foot up. You will never be shooting paint that brittle, so no reason to worry about it.

3) No threads will be permitted on the subject of “Onyx vs. ______”, where the blank may be the name of any other paintball gun. This is the Onyx forum, so anyone who posts a “Which is better: Onyxs or _____” thread already knows that they will receive overwhelming support for the Onyx. Thus, any such thread is a pointless waste of site bandwidth and will be closed or deleted, and the offending user will be warned. The one exception to this rule is threads which pit one “model” of Onyx against another. Since these threads are not inherently biased toward one side or the other, they will be permitted.
