Simply parts on the board control the amount of voltage going to the servo

the reason i ask is, I have incorporated a halo motor in the servo box. i modified some of the gears, so it is still belt driven. the only problem i am having is getting the correct voltage to the motor. there is a mod to put 2 9vs in to a halo but i need to know the nominal voltage flow from the board to the motor so i can correctly choose a resistor.
so would this mod make the EvoII faster/forcefed?

it already is force fed.. Would a revy servo be any inprovement to the egg servo or are they the same thing.

it techically inst true force feed. its only semi because if you have the z-board, the paddles only have pressure on the balls sometimes, not consistently.

ya well what if you somehow made youown egg board that feeds constantly and feeds slower only when the balls stop moveing kinda like the velocity wouldent that be more consistant than the z board.

lol just hook the 9volts up to the servo with a switch and add some resistors thats soo easy you dnt even need the board at that point but it would put wayy too much pressure on the balls and the paddles woud probaly break.

yee
just did the 9 volt connectors mod, almost too easy, with a little internal cutting of the shell, it fits like a dream, and i shaved my gears, teency bit faster now too
made a good speedfeed like prem's a couple months back, that works great
those r the three mods ive done, and would reccomend for all

dang i wish i had found this before two nights ago. im trading my egg with a ton of extra parts for a nice pod pack and im gettin' a velocity. i dont think so, but the mods here wouldnt do squat for a velocity. i thought the paddles in the velocity were similar. oh well i figure it out.

the answer i need is the resistance of the "some resistors" that i would need to run a halo motor.

That's a better impellor mod.

For that impellor mod, would only cutting off 2 of the arms (leaving 4) be better in any way. I know that doesn't make them evenly spaced, but would that drastically hurt it?

It seems like it would hurt consistency but you say that the revvy impellor with 4 prongs feeds more balls...

i think the straight line one is a bit faster.....more balls fit inbetween the paddles.....my guess though. havent tried any yet....

Edit: difference might be the consistency in the two. wait for flight to get on for a full answer...

By cutting in the mercedes or the X-wing style the impeller still only holds 6 balls, it just allows them to settle into the gaps in time to actually get fed. By leaving a straight line the Impellor feeds 8 balls always.

So how does the 4 bladed revvy impellor feed so fast? Does it hold 6 balls or 8?

it should keep up , maybe its spinning in the wrong direction ... it doesnt say that in the thread but thats a reason your loader could be feeding slow

....quick question ... will you notice the difference in the speed you actually get from cutting the impellor
