Question:

On the Halo there is a mod to turn the power to the batteries on/off to the board so that it doesn't drain then while off. I was wondering whether the Egg also drains batteries while in the off position. If so would it be worthwhile to do this mod on my Egg?

The revvy impellor and tripod imellors are slightly different, the tripods need to be melted and bent to be more squat(shorter and logner hoirzontal reach) in the raceway.

Ok, did the revy impellr mod but need to shave down the thing the impellor goes on because I cant get through a hopper w/o a jam because the balls go under it. Went pretty good. Hardest part is putting everything back together. :p Going to do the speed feed tommarow and will also test both impellors to see the bps increase.

Well I tried the speedfeed, and it didnt work...at all. It does not work what so ever, zip ties were a pain in the ***, and it was a overall waste of the hour and a half I spent on it. I was also confused b/c the directions didnt go with the pic, so I ended up cutting vertical lines in it like the first pic. That was probably most the problem. Directions were too hard to understand. Maybe Im just dumb but I just couldnt do it. Am going to try again when I understand more what Im doing.

quick question... do you know the operating voltage of the motor and if the board has a resistance. With two 9Vs, I would assume in a series connection, create a 12V charge, but is this 12V the accual voltage going to the motor. please correct me if i am wrong about that.
the reason i ask is, I have incorporated a halo motor in the servo box. i modified some of the gears, so it is still belt driven. the only problem i am having is getting the correct voltage to the motor. there is a mod to put 2 9vs in to a halo but i need to know the nominal voltage flow from the board to the motor so i can correctly choose a resistor.

the voltage to the servo is ~11.8v

And I demand pics. I think I know what you did as well, but I am pretty sure that my idea requires a smaller belt
