First the seal was gone - gone and someone took some kind of glue and put it in the LPR piston to try to seal the gun! I know paintball is expensive and paying for shipping and repairs cuts into the paint you can buy, understood, but I will gladly send out a seal and that only costs me an envelope and a stamp.
High prices? Yes, as you said all it needed was to set the dwell, turn up the LPR and replace the LPR piston. It says on the site that our minimum fee is $75 - that includes return shipping. At $50 we gave you a discount and you said Thank You. I think that's where it should have been left. Besides, repairs are not profitable for us. We do it to keep players happy. $10 for the shipping so what would be reasonble for a bench fee and a new piston? $30??? Overchage was $10?

Again this is the problem with doing this on a forum - I have 600 guns out there and maybe 15 have had to be sent in twice but half of them have found their way to PBNation.

Aliens are good solid guns but everything mechanical will break sometimes. So yes we do have legitimate repairs, and then are the ones that are caused by the curious players - nicked cup sel valves - and I have had more than one gun sent back with the cup seal valve turned around. Usually the player says straight up 'I took it apart', every once in awhile they say "I didn't do anything" doesn't matter, I take care of them both but I do respect the guy who is straight with me.

Just because I have a company doesn't mean I'm richer than Batman. I sell excellent guns at great prices and I feel I am more than willing to be fair. But if someone thinks I'm overcharging then say something - to me!
Ok. But I am POSITIVE that I went no where near that bumper. I didn't know there was that bumper until I was informed mine was bad (or gone, or made of glue ). I had taken the LPR apart a few times, and had never seen the bumper. I know doing repairs isn't profitable, and that it was a fairly good price. I was just pissed because redakuma accused me of ghettorigging a part that I didn't even touch.
And again, if you don't believe I didn't make one out of glue, contact silverbeast5000 or crazykaboom. They know me well enough to know I wouldn't do something stupid like that. They were also with me when taking apart my lpr (I believe). They may remember something.

Hmm, having some issues with my interceptor lately. It doesn't shoot straight anymore. I can adjust velocity all day long, nothing. I have cleaned the bolt, barrel, breech, feedneck, hopper. My paint is fine, that's not the problem. Any suggestions?

From the manual for an 05 interceptor it says

Quote:
Possible values are from 4.0ms
to 50.0ms. The factory default is 8.0ms. Changes are made in .1ms
units via the trigger.
So if change are made per trigger pull as .1ms. That means i would have to pull the trigger ten times to equal 1ms?

If so that would explain the trouble i was having today since my dwell was only set at 1.8.

I'm pretty sure its 1ms per pull. and the a second color allows you to increment .1ms. It is a two step process. Read page 14 of the manual.

1. Some hoses get flemsy after a while and wont grip the barbs. If I have length I usually cut off a cm off that end before reinstalling.

2. your barbs maybe worn down to where the teeth don't hold the hose. Replacement BL Intimidator barbs fit. I installed the hybrid high flow barbs and I think they work great lowering my LP a tad.

3. your LPR maybe running on the high side blowing off your LP hose.

Hope those help.

I think it might be the barbs, but paintball stores around me don't have many timmy parts in general. =[ But I'll try to find some.

Jack -- E-Mail is sent, thanks alot.

Small leak around the lpr coming from the frontblock.

Took o ring off it looks fine, but it is a quad. Can a non-quad o ring work or not? And what size?

Screw it all the way out (lpr). Air it up, start to unscrew your hpr (should be closed so that you dont bypass lpr, or blow your noid) so that there will be air to the lpr . Finally start to screw the lpr in and read the guage. You want it to be at about 80-95.

Make sure to unscrew the hpr til you reach a desired velocity but keep an eye on the guage because some lprs regulate depend on pressure, some just are able to regulate on any pressure. ( Pretty much that means that if you dont keep an eye on the guage you will blow your noid from your lpr overpressurizing.)

Pretty much i consider it a game, but its quite easy to do. Its the tuning that ****s with me.

rammstein - Your gonna have to post what marker you have for size. I believe the stock o-ring is a regular o-ring so yes a non-quad will work. Do you have a aftermarket LPR? Some owners use quads to assist leaking for aftermarket LPRs.
