Deception is here! Initial thoughts

First off the marker looks beautiful mine is Purple/teal Accents. I am running it on a ninja V2 with 450psi output.

Feel:
It feels great in the hands its lengthy enough for my liking I am 6'3 I will compare it to some other markers length tomorrow at the pb store i work at. Most surprising thing to my liking was the trigger It came on semi and i aired it up and was easily able to shoot the cap of 15 semi.

Shot Quality:
WOW i must say this thing shoots Sooooooooooo nice it shoots like nothing else on the market! I have shot/Owned everything on the market basically and by far this is my favorite.

More Thoughts to come My time with it has consisted of just getting it and shooting it in the backyard and so far this seems like a real Winner my only thing is There is no Manual that i can find for the marker yet maybe that is to come.

Will try to update this normally and get some videos out on YouTube and give everyone a full breakdown/review of the marker. this is one of the best markers to hit the market in years so you are all in for a treat.

Haha awesome. It really is like nothing else.

Enjoy being one of the only guys in your area that has one. I am sure it wont be for long.

I think Jack needs to change his signature....

I always go back to the video Griffan did when - we put the LPR on the "first off" gun, right when we were about to say "make the first batch" and instead said "no, we have to wait and put the LPR on them". That first off gun was a great gun - but it did shoot "like other guns" - this one - this one is special.
Thanks, happy to hear you are happy! so far everyone is happy to have waited.

I can speak for the community when I say we will wait for a completely finished product I would never encourage a company to rush things. and in this case of course the wait was well worth it

I would love to see how the deception compares to the Invasion and the G6R, in terms of size.

Unfortunately neither of those markers are on hand right now but I can speak for the g6r that it will be a little smaller compared to the deception length wise

1st Update

Efficiency: Shot 2 bags of bore matched marbs though it with a 4K hot fill on my SL 77/45 and i am just a bit under 2k left it will that means this will shoot a case of paint on a full fill on a 77 Wow!

Should be right. Yourpbfriend said about 1,800 on a 77 and 1,600 on a 66 - hot and not fully filled - so numbers bit uncertain.
It appears that we lost nothing on efficiency with the softer, lower pressure shot of the Deception. The non LPR version shot 300 at about 150 psi.
However the "best" setting seems to be 290 FPS at 180 for the lowest LPR and the calmest shot.

So now spools have: less efficiency - weigh more - have fatter bodies - have lost any height advantage - need so much more maintenance/less reliable - hard to make one tube look as good - and can't be cleaned if a ball breaks inside.
Old School is the new, New School

But now here in a few hours I'm going to be filming for the full review for the General maintaince. portion the manual says you don't have to but every marker I have owned I clean extensively after every use so we shall see how it goes.

If you don't have a coy of the manual, I'll email - it's not below the 25m so it emails, actually 12M. You will need a small 8 inch dowell - a wooden spoon handle does nicely. Push the valve out the back.

We'll be in the shop most of the day if you have questions or comments. and remember to keep the eye wires under the electronics to the open side of the solenoid - then feed the wires into the grip - the panel off as the gun slides together. There should be no resistance - no resistance means no squished wires.

Players - 5 cases means only that he can now reset his LPR and dwell. I'm absolutely confident that he will open the gun and see no wear - won't be able to tell from NIB. Maintenance for most players only means extra areas for problems. Clean the bolt and trigger and lube the reg pistons at the start of the year and you will be good. Nevertheless -
Thank you for doing the video, this will be great for players to see the build quality of the gun.
