Critical Trigger doesn't fit???

I just bought a critical trigger off of the nation, and unfortunately it doesn't fit in my 2k5 frame. Is my frame messed up or are there different types of these triggers? I thought criticals were a universal fit. Here are some pictures showing whats up:

My Frame:

Here is the critical. As you can see the ball bearing and surrounding metal are just slightly too wide to fit in the frame

The same is true with this other critical

Here is my assassins trigger to show you a correct fit.

Well first off, that is a 2k5 frame, not an empire frame. Secondly, the second trigger you show (the blue one) is also a critical trigger, not a cp slingblade.

interesting....I bought the blue trigger from some kid for $10 and he said it was a CP but i did wonder why it seemed identical to the critical...guess that's cause it was. As for the frame, I've seen it called an empire frame but whatever. Anyways I edited my post and my question remains. Any idea why the trigger doesn't fit?

Critical triggers don't fit in a Bob Long 2K5 frame without taking a dremel to the hose guard.

Just try bending the top peice of metal that rests against the top of the frame.

Its worth it to try if you really want to use the critical. My teammate dremel'd his frame so he could use his techna in it, so its your call to make.

It depends, some are harder to fit than others.

Mine fit in but was rubbing in 2 spots, I grind them down with a dremel and trigger worked fine.

In some cases the trigger don't even fit in and the hose guard had to be completely removed. But even that being the worst, you can still pick up an aftermarket hose guard.
