ok, in the other tread about the luckies man alive, i mentioned i saw a 06 ceptor go for 380. he said he had to sell it to pay for his next event. the picture was copied of teh internet.

today, i went on and saw teh same picture. i click on it. the bidding starts at 400. the guy said he had to seel it because of his wife. he even says the picture is copied form teh internet.

IMO seriously scetchy. yes it could be 2 different guns, but its teh SAME picture, from 2 different people, NOT of their guns. how do you do that? the prices are similar 2. im not even thinking about looking at ebay for aliens unless it is from a reputable dealer. im not telling people not to buy it, just warning people to be weary. there been weird crap going on with ebay alien deals.

I have to get my digital out and take some pics. after a fight with my wife i got pissed and put it up. Now if you don't believe I own it. we don't mean to accuse you but there have been suspicous aloen auctions on ebay and at least 1 scam

Apparently, we've gone from investigating a very suspicious Auction in Ebay's Airsoft section to flagging everybody.

sorry man, not trying to sabotoge your auction, but with the recent events with alien on ebay i saw this and was alarmed. your auction also looked very similar to one that ended a few days ago, and for around the same price.

Well there are lots of scammers. I think the interceptor is a fantastic marker. Built by a great company. However i have several markers. So i have to sell off my stuff i don't use. It just doesn't see enough play time.

Exactly. The actual scam that appeared here yesterday had red flags all over it including money order or cashier's check only, duplicate out of focus photo and very suspicious feedback. I've been watching the Ebay/Paintball/Alien auctions for months and as far as I can see they've all been legit. The phony ones stick out like a sore thumb.
