I finally got my Matrix. I tested it out, and it sounds like it burps or skips, but seems to shoot fine. Also, some air comes out of the back of the gripframe onto my wrist when I fire it. Are these things normal?

Well the air is the solinoid exauhst and is normal. If your gun sounds really quiet and weired thats normal. It's one of the quietest if not the most silent gun sold. If it fires normally and sounds as if it "skips" in long strings of rapid fire then it probably is for a couple of reasons. If your matrix is dual regulated then it is skipping either because u are out shooting your loader and are pinching balls or because your rock reg is set too low so not enough pressure is being put into your gun. But it sounds to me like yer just not used to the supre quiet sound.
