dude i swear paintball is the most expensive sport out there, i mean to get good u buy like 1000$ worth of gear then weekly have to spend about 70$ for entry air paint,, and then u have tourny entry/air, which is CRAZY, i may not be quiting but only getting into tourny ball but one is for sure it costs to much and u get little back in return(5 man tourny entry=250 if you win u get 300, wow 10$ profit, i mean ya it feels good to win but COME ON after spending like 200$+ for practice and then to make 10$ really your loosing money!!!) my opiion we stop purchasing such high price crap, they make there 1200$ markers for lke 150$ no offense but thats to much profit and money to be spending, wat other sport do u pay 1200 for one out of the many items u need to play(high end tournys) NONE, think about it football pad helmet shoes jersey.... like 250, basketball like 25$ if i could get everyone to boycott i would but it would never happen, and ya guys i know i went a little off topic but im trying to prove a point alot of players quit because it costs to much, its fun in all but in the end you end up loosing alot of money no matter how many tournys your team wins or deals it gets. and in all truth the whole paintball market is WAY TO EXPENSIVE i could write a book on how much they gip us off, its insane and if i didnt love the game as much as a i do i would quit in a split second(but i wont not till its not fun)
so in all honesty its not fair to blame people if they are quiting this sport of paintball, its too pricey, and u cant make a living off of it.

ok we all got into paintball for the same reasons we love the game right i rember the first time i went with my dad back in the day we played woods ball and it was the funnest thing ever i bought every paintball magazine i could find back then the only one was APG and we all know how much it sucked. Put money asside paintball is proabbly the best sport in the world where else do you get to learn teamwork, disclipline, and get to shoot some one.
i think in everyones "career" in this sport they go through a low time and i think that is what you are experiencing and i dont think you should quit. take a break or **** switch teams, or how about a day or walkons at sc village that will bring the fun back trust me.
i started playing this game back in 92 and i dont think i will ever quit

I dont think I could ever completely quit. I can take long breaks and everything, but paintball is in me forever. No matter the price.

also, i bet most hockey players own more than 1 pair of socks, because i have like 15 pairs in a closet, along with about 20 jerseys from various teams, pro and stuff. i spend well over 5 gs in gear when i played hockey. since i was a player, then moved to goalie and back to being a player so i had to buy 3 sets of gear. along with the tape, many sticks, and other stuff
