I really dont see a point in venting off the ram, its not like it needs it.... does it?

I thought the noid vented it through on its own.

Because you can vent at the ram, the air doesn't have to travel back to the solenoid to vent. And the QEV will vent faster at the ram than the solenoid will vent when you add the travel time.

Does anyone actually have proof that qev's actually show improvement in timmies? I know that there was someone here that tested the qevs with no improvement in performance. Anyone here actually remember the post?

QEV's are shown true improvement on the Egos and Eteks, and the ram system is very simular so I don't see why there would improvement on timmies. Plus from my experence with other rams QEVs help.

They should help. The definatly help in cockers. They probobly will work, but just not as well.

One quick question...
Someone said that it would be loader. Are they talking about the air that is coming out of the qev's? Or do they meqan that the marker itself will be louder?

I do recall a thread that had a user testing QEVs to find no improvement in performance (and it was questionable in the egos). I'll find the test thread as soon as the user numbers go down.

I tested QEVs on my gun before, but they were too big to fit the frame on. I was shooting into a bath tub. The improvement is slight, and I guarantee that with more time to fiddle at the field with a chrony, I can get good results.

there was someone else who ran extensive testing on it and improvements were close to nil. I'll locate the thread tonight.
