Well as many of you have seen there have been tons of update threads nowadays. Well I was the first to ever 2k5 a species. I scrapped that gun for parts a few months ago and now I’m back and better than ever (for Christmas this year….pballkm21’s species is here ).




Well as of now here are the specs. These are just the baseline. I have hundreds of dollars worth of parts coming to me in mid September.

Species body drilled and tapped for alias front block
Alias front block
Alias frame
Alias ramsleeve
Species lpr
Eigenram
Hybrid Hedlock 2
CP alias adjustable ram cap
Alias torpedo reg
Techna Trigger
Infamous 2k6 trigger dremeled down to fit frame (now using techna instead)
VP species bolt
Frenzy 113 ( )
Species trigger guard that amazingly fits the alias frame with no modification (yes it worked installed on guns and the screw doesn’t block or hit anything) (not in pic)

Oh yeah...did i mention all these parts were bought for a grand total of $104 and an UL barrel .

I also have all SS screws that i am installing now to replace the ****ty rusted ones one there in the pic.
With all those parts the gun shoots flawlessly. It is amazing with no kick and is very consistent

In mid sempember I will buy all of these parts…

Possibly Empire Frame
Infamous m6 board (alias style…getting rid of the ****ty 2k2 wiring)
Hybrid Verdict lpr
VP pistons
Hybrid grips (im using ghetto lexan grips now)
“BL” logo mini volly
Custom anno (any suggestions?)
Im sure im forgeting things right now...

ya its nice to see that everyone is coming around to the species. mine is in my sig. also proud to say i got mine when every body was saying they where ugly and would never get one . i still shoot with the 113 but when i can part with it for a few day i will just get the board flashed.

You know, Im completely ignorant when it comes to timmys( ) but Id suggest that you buy an empire trigger gaurd and keep the alias frame

I love the hybrid feedneck. And i dont care if my feedneck stands a whole 2 cm higher than everyone elses

I am taking the alias trigger gaurd off as i type and putting on an empire to see what it looks like.....

Nahh i dont like it...im gonna use the species gaurd.

Yeah. When i 2k5ed my gun at first there were only lik two people that really knew about it or liked it and everyone just blew it off becuase they thought it looked hideous. Thanks rendition for upping resale value and changing peoples opinions

You can also thank Mike for upping the bar (across the board I might add), and giving you big shoes to fill with 05'ing a Timmy, and not only that but you chose to 05 the same marker he did, so you have quite a challenge in front of you. ALso try B/S/T for Empire Frames, and you might be able to trade your Alias frame for one.

Ehh not really. Originally my gun was insanely upped. Alot and i mean alot more than mikes is. Only thing it was lacking was an anno which is why mine never got much attention and his got alot. That and hes a more well known member of the pbn community.

Come september it will again be more upped. I will have nothing stock on that gun but the body and eye covers. And everything will be top notch. Im not holding out on this gun and finally i have the funds to do so.

Ill take more pics tommorow outside so the gun doesnt look so ****ty. Im about to take that pic off right now becuase truthfully.....that looks like a pile of ****.

Does anyone have any suggestions for anno ideas. Im really open to anything and any idea has agood chance of becoming a reality.

keep the alias frame, it looks much better than the empire frame on the species. keep the lpr you have. the hybrid will perform the same. plus species lpr pistons already have 2 orings. dont get VP pistons. they are a waste of time and money, i have them. they dont do anything performance wise. and they only use one oring. species' double oring piston is better.

keep the anno you have . the fade is sick. just anno the alias frame


And. getting a volly is useless when using an alias LPR. the volume of space in the alias block is great enough, making the volly a big waste of money.

your pretty much done. i just saved you allot of money

Actually only a small run of the species lprs and torpedos had the double orings. They didnt do anything either which is why none came with them. All the upgrades that i have mentioned were on the gun before an d as you said did nothing. They were there for looks and will be on my new gun for looks also.

I may keep the alias frame becuase each time i look at it it looks nicer and nicer. Same with the anno. It is actually a trifade if you didnt notice. Black to grey to silver. Looks amazing in person.

As i said before...im not holding back on this gun. Alot of the things i plan on buying and have already bought are a waste of money, but just look amazing. I hold looks and performance at a 50/50 thing...and luckly most of the things that look good also perform well.
