and/or freeze the paintballs, it DOES because a deadly weapon, especially if somebody is not wearing a mask. If you got shot in the temple, at relatively close range, without protection of any kind, with a paintball marker's velocity above 300, and (possibly even without) with frozen paintballs, I'm certain it would do permanent damage or be lethal. A paintball marker set above 300 FPS can easily break bones in your hand.

Freezing paintballs makes them brittle meaning they break easier.

Honestly they should be locked up. 20 years is an excessive amount of time of course but they went out with intention of hurting innocent people.
I spoke to a kids the other day that is going to do this on mischief night and i pray this little jerk gets locked up.
