I would reccomend these three:

1. AGD Automag RT Pro

2. Indian Creek BKO (watered down bushy)

3. BE rainmaker (no one flame me on this one)

why the mag: They are a good step up from the tippmans and spyders but still fairly easy to maintain (just need to keep extra o-rings on ya). Their stock interanls are the best you can get (besides the level 10) so you won't have to worry much about those upgrades. The RT mags are capable of insane rate of fire. AGD has terrific customer service. mags are becoming less and less popular so you will be a real head turner. mags are very compact (a tube with a trigger) and their body design is beutiful IMO.

why the BKO: its electro, upgradeable to the wazzu, i hear customer service is good (not sure about this tho)

why the R/M: electro, how the pneumatics work makes it impossible to chop, really pretty IMO, very rare so you will be a head turner (although people will give you crap for having a BE gun) there are more home-made upgrades you can do on a rm than any other gun. if you get the S/F boards they are capable of high ROF and can go full auto (not that F/A matters)

How much money do you have to spend? Do you already have a motorizedloader and compressed air system? New or used? A cocker will at best shoot a few BPS faster than your 98, but you can always get an electro conversion and make it faster. I prefer angels, and they start out $500.00ish for a used led, but you really need to get a few different guns in your hot little hands and decide for yourself.

The Rainmaker could be a very bad idea...

Not because it is a BE marker, but because it is out of production. "Orphans" are hard to find parts for. They are also rare enough that you may have trouble finding a smith with any experiance on that rig. They were nice marker, BE or not and they make nice project guns, but you had better learn to work on the yourself.

you might want to look into the Matrix if you are looking for a high end marker. they have the least moving parts and are electronic.
i have read a few articals about them and they seem to be the most consistant marker out there
do some reserch on it and you will see what i am talking about

Ok I will clarify my concern...

With the exception of barrels (I believe they are cocker threaded) it is NOT common to find Rainmaker parts. Possible? Yes, but more difficult all of the time. Many of the most common retailers, internet and otherwise have few if any parts for that marker.

If you need a bolt for an angel, cocker, timmy, Spyder,... whatever the are easy to find. Vast numbers of retailers carry different options at competitve prices. Finding parts for a Rainmaker will not be a similar experiance. And those parts still in existance will eventually dry up.

I am not dogging the marker. It was a nice quality electro. It sumply carried the stigma attached to Brass Eagle.

BTW... the link is dead. Do you have another option? Or are you going to help prove my point?

theres nothing wrong with a tippy. Theres a pro team called Tippmann Effect. They are really good 2. U might just want to hold on to ur tippy and upgrade it. There good guns!

Only the Cocker has the E-Blade
That's accuracy and speed sorted at a reasonable cost
3 out of 3 ain't bad

You need to see this vid

Cool

How "tricked out" is your Tippy?
Perhaps you should work on that a bit more.

hm... another poor, misgotten soul fallen pray to the corperate scams of people trying to sell the antichrist known as the autococker. accuracy cannot be change from a TRIGGER FRAME. release the demons of planet eclipse from your body, you do not have to become the model of WGP idiocy, you can change.

Note
1. The Autococker is known for its accuracy
2. The Eblade gives you an exceedingly good rate of fire
3. It's not too expensive even if you build in stages
Planet would have liked to sell me an Impy or an Angel, but I ain't got that sort of cash to spend all at once.
Build it slowly whilst I'm learning the marker
And if Automags rule then open a shop and sell them cos no one else near me seems to. And if there is someone near me there marketing sucks.

i would disprovet your accuracy remark, but the 10,000 word limit is stopping me. so i will spell it out

AUTOCOCKERS CANNOT NATURALLY SHOOT STRAIGHTER THAN OTHER GUNS!!!

still with me? if so read the next line

ACCURACY IS BASED 99.57% ON PAINT/BARREL MATCH. THE OTHER .43% IS CONSITANCY!!!!

i hope that didn't fry your ignorant WGP brain. what i am sayng tho, a stingray with perfect paint/barrel match and a tank that flatlines it's velocity can quite possibly be more accurate than your autococker. do not bring up accuracy again unless you are ready to see a myriad of owned macros posted.

Oh dear someone who really hates WGP and Planet
Each to his own. I looked around and for the money I could have bought a Tippman A5, JT 6.0 or a WGP 2k3 Cocker. I bought the what suited me, forget the hype.
