Slowest registration yet

Seems like not many teams have signed up. Is there many they have not posted? I just remember last year SD and htis year HB being sold out within hours of open registration.

Don't see West coast teams having to fly cross country 3 out of 5 events..

solution: 2 east coast, 2 west coast and one in the middle somewhere...That way it cuts down on cost for all the teams then you only have to fly to 2 of them and you could drive to three if need be......IT is just to costly for d3 and d2 teams that dont have the sponsors that the d1, semi and pro teams have...Not whinning just stating facts

Agreed

I couldn't agree with you guys more. The current situation of 3 SoCal events obviously isn't ideal for most customers.

I'd like to see two east coast, two west coast and one midwest event in 2007. HB obviously isn't going any where and to be honest, Tampa, Boston and San Diego are all very successful events as well. There are perks to revisiting the same venues year after year as we create awareness with the public and the local teams and businesses plan for our event in their annual outlook. Just the same, I feel it is equally as important to reach new markets by setting up in various regions. It is a very serious goal of ours to continue to grow the sport and we take all of this into account when selecting venues.

I love getting leads from you on venues in your areas or areas you'd like to see us visit. Keep the leads coming! Email me at Camille@NPPL.tv

Personally I'm partial to playing closer to michigan....I just don't see the nppl hitting Detroit soon...2 east/2 west ,1 central would be awesome though.

The lowest turn out Boston
Largest turnout HB

Majority of sponors are based in Cali

East coast- mostly five man CFOA feeder series
West coast- mostly seven man XPSL feeder series.

the NPPL has to pick venues with the large populations but still attract sponsors like JT, DYE, and CP. The players are only part of it, without the big sponsors the NPPL would be in trouble.
Don't get me wrong I would play on either coast, but don't expect to see the majority of the NPPL event on the east coast anytime soon.

Are the amount of teams shown on here:http://www.nppl.tv/teams_playing.php accurate? If so those are incredibly low numbers.

still a lot of time left for teams to sign up

being so late in the season many teams may be opting to skip this one and save money if they arent doing so hot

the other thing too is boston like JUST happened for many teams in terms of finances and readiness (for instance, my team has only practiced three times since then) and coming up with another entry fee so fast isnt easy for many teams to do, especially if you just played psp socal too

Chicago would be an excellent venue - probably the only one that would be viable for the midwest.
I think this would be the compromise that many teams are looking for.

one in the NE one in the SE, obviously HB and probably somewhere in the NW although you may as well just have 2 in cali

the series registration is not so difficult imo between 3&4 as it is between 4&5SD and LA - thats where the real expense is.

Because they are based in PA/NJ. Just wondering. I thought they were two of the biggest companies in paintball.

And Tippmann is in Indiana. And PMI headquarters is in IL.

Smart parts isn't a NPPL vendors/sponsor even on east coast events.
The majority of the sponsor/vendors are west coast not all
