Get Rid Of "bob"...

No, not Bob Landry... Are you crazy?? Did you see that kid in the snake ???

I mean that bounce, or "bob" your body does while you run.

It is natural for the body to bounce up and down while you run. For a paintballer though, this natural "bobbing" effect sends your paint all over the place. You won't hit much like this, so we need to get rid of it.

How? Practice, practice, practice. Running at a target while shooting, and thinking about keeping your body stable. Imagine a cartoon, and how when they start running their legs are going crazy, but the upper body doesn't move at all. This is you. Wile E Coyote, and your crazy legs.

It will take a lot of practice to get it down, but if you work at it, you will see your balls landing on target more often.

So, next time you are running drills, think about "bob", and Get Rid Of Him!

Whatever you can make work would be fine with me, if I were coaching you. I am only interested in the correct result.

I just had an idea.

Try running with a cup that is pretty much completely full of water.

If you are able to move faster and faster without spilling the water, it should help with you holding your gun level while running.

Makes sense in my head...I'll see if its practical.

shooting with both hands, running and gunning, running low, staying tight, diving, and communicating are all things i try to practice, among others.
