It might swell it might not, your only option is to take it outovernight, then wait and see, if it does swell, you can either sand it, or buy a new bolt. Just make sure to use tri-flo, or no lube at all on your bolt.
You're probably alright as long as this hasn't been going on for an extended period. If you notice bolt swell, where the bolt is tighter in the breach than it should be, then you may have a problem. If that happens, a little sand paper is your friend.
ok so theres my bolt, missing front 2 o-rings, caked in black mud like substance and has the back lopped off at the set screw. I have never had a problem yet with my bolts like this for all 5 timmies i have owned
delrin swelling is a myth. Lube doesnt make your bolt swell. Hatersauce or shocker lube will neither make your bolt swell or shrink. Delrin does however expand a bit w/ heat. Probably not enough to cause an issue.
I use muck on all my bolts and regs. Its a combination of gold cup oil mixed w/ shocker lube to the consistency of pudding.
