I hate dm's and shockers so this new marker makes me very happy. Besides all the goodies inside the thing, the wide spread body has a ton of room on it that I will be able to do a totally bad *** custom anno too.

The old timmies had so little surface that you were limited to how crazy you could get with the ano themes.

Sounds too good to be true. Any truth to this Terry?

efficiency seems amazing 3150 shots off of a 68/45

I feel this is a horrible day in timmy history.

Yes, its new, and its ment to keep up with the competition. Great

But all the things I like about my timmy have pretty much been taken out of this.

This thing embodies something i hate with trixs/shockers/ions/freestyles/ect
You chop you're either gonna have to deal with the chop or take the whole damn thing apart and clean it.
You say "dont chop then!" yea...bad paint doesnt happen

Cleaning this thing looks as if its going to be horrible. If its anything like the 98 (o god please no) its gonna have a million pieces and take an hour or so. My old timmy seriously takes 10 minutes.

The new looking frame scares me, really bad. What if it doesnt have the timmy trigger pull? Thats one of the reasons i wont shoot much but a timmy. We'll have to wait and see.

I do however like the feedneck milled into the body, and how they dropped it into the body so the hopper can sit really low. Smart, cept rip drivin it is gonna suck.

and i HATE this new streamlined appearance thats on these guns now. So flat...and boring. What happened to the old timmy appeal? Intricate and exotic milling. It's gonna be missed.

m-dawg. the new timmy is a great looking marker BUT I've always been kind of a fan of the classic timmy design. Something tells me that the ego may appeal to those who are fans of the classic design. The new Timmy seems to follow the latest current trend, not exactly trailblazing. JMHO, time to zip up the old flamesuit.

IMO, the gun seems rather long. Any pics comparing size to any other Timmys? Whats the length compare to, lets say, a 2K2 timmy? What about a new timmy?

damn it BL never ceases to amaze, this gun looks really hot, the ripper 3 sounds promising as well.

I guess we can expect a barrage of good things from Bob Long for years to come.

I guarantee it will not get anywhere close to 3150 shots per 68/45.

i would say as far as cleaning it and how the trigger feels I say we just have to wait and see, if its good enough for bob its good enough for me, i trust if it cost the same as a gen4 then its gonna perform that was. as for the efficiency ur right it cant possible get 3,150 of a 68. Also found out today the world is flat and the sun revolves around us.

Can someone explain to me how exactly a Timmy isn't a higher-end, more complicated Spyder?

In that same line of questioning, explain how this gun isn't a higher-end, more complicated Tippmann (inline blowback)...?

Also, for curiousity's sake, I wonder why there appears to be no LPR on this new gun?

Last, solenoids and manifolds are tougher now, but lacking precise airflow control, couldn't efficiency drop, as well as the gun not functioning well in inclement weather?

OK so we know:

1. Its NOT a spooler
2. Ram in the back, bolt in the front, poppit in the middle (similar to a tippy setup)
3. Milled not extruded
4. Feedneck part of marker
5. dual break beams
6. new detents
7. new HPR

Any other details that can be given .. what about an official name?

Guessing all new electronics? Use standard timmy triggers?
