Type-R valve question

What types of valves are compatable with rex type-r's? I heard a spyder valve may be compatable and I was thinking about upgrading to an aftermarket one (aka, macdev etc...)

Thanks for any help.

Umm spyders are blowbacks, your gun is a blow foward with spring return. Will they fit? Yes the bores are the same, but you dont need a blow back valve. Why change it anyway? Another option is buying the buillet cup seals that will fit it and give you that nice cone shape. (They dont do much other then that) But it needs upgradeing why?

Hmm more shots, Well to save cash, you could just buy the cupseals and see what you could drill out of the valve, I have alsowanted to mod my RPM's valve, just to see. **** I got nothing to do tommarow, I may do that!

I believe that the Maddman Rocket valve for "The One" will work. It has no blowback port.

I advise you to buy a rebuild kit along with the valve. Since you have to file down the pin every time you screw in the "SRP", it's nice to have a spare in case you go too far. I wish I'd done this on my Spyder clone.

Honestly, the Type R valve tooks to be pretty darn good as-is, but I'd be curious to hear what upgrades do.

As for the stock parts, the bullet cupseals from Alamo City Paintball will probably fit, and ought to give a little better flow compared to the stock seal.

Please post anything you find that's interesting to the thread in my sig.

Just port the valve and shave the cupseal. Works really well. Got my Dragun T1 running 180psi

Yes any "one" valve will work, so if you have the bucks the rocket valve would be good, but honestly, just mod the valve and see if you like it, that whay you spend less.
