Greensboro, North Carolina, August 1, 2006: Paintball Central, the southeastís largest paintball pro-shop and playing park chain, will officially reschedule two of its Fall 2006 three-man event dates to better accommodate the 2006 Paintball Sports Promotions Mid-Atlantic Open. Hosted by Paintball Central Sports Park Charlotte from September 21-24, the 2006 PSP Mid-Atlantic Open will host teams from across the United States and the world, competing for hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money, including the National XBall League, home of professional franchise Baltimore Trauma and Division 1 powerhouse Carolina Gridlock.
To better allow local players and teams to participate in or attend the PSP Mid-Atlantic Open, Paintball Central announces the following changes to the Fall 2006 three-man series schedule: the inaugural event of the Fall three-man series, originally scheduled for August 26, will be moved up one weekend to August 19. In addition, the September 2006 PBC three-man date will be moved to September 30, 2006. All players participating in the Paintball Central three-man series are invited to attend the PSP Mid-Atlantic Open, either as competitors or spectators, and take their place in Carolina paintball history as professional teams compete in the region for the first time in the history of the sport!
