The wires on the solenoid of my LCD matrix have broken off. I can solder them back on easily enough, but I'm not sure which wire goes to which terminal. Both of the wires are white, so I can't tell which is positive and which one is negative. If someone can post a closeup pic of the solenoid with its wiring, that might be all I need.

Also, anyone know the voltage of the solenoid? I want just hook up a power source to make sure it's working.

No that wouldn't work on it. And I'm pretty sur ehe just needs to resolder since the solder job was flimsy at least on mine.

Eh I wouldn't have been able to tell but I know that old matrixes don't have connectors they just solder on.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. I just wanted to let you know that after resoldering the wires and shrink tubing around the solder joints, I plugged it into the frame and powered it up and I can hear clicking when I pull the trigger, so I think the problem is fixed.
