I haven't checked yet. I'll get on that right now and will keep all of you posted.

EDIT- lynelle at actionmarkers.com is no longer a valid email address. Therefore, I reached out on eBay and PBN. Anybody know any other way to contact her should these two prove to be useless?

Sorry I had to miss the party. My corporation "downsized" our office...basically telling us we have until Sept.1 to pack our stuff and head to the unemployment line. I've been a tad busy for paintball lately, but getting back to the swing of things. Back to form - Boom; lemme look through my list of contacts and see what I have left for functioning phone #'s. I'm not hopeful, but if I dig up any, I'll PM you with them.

Yes, any numbers would be really helpful, as I was looking to buy any remaining AM products.

Just an update- contact was established, so I sent the proposal for the AMOG v2.0 . As always, I will keep everyone posted. I am not optimistic that it will happen, though...

One thing I just found out that may kill AMOG v2.0- The WHOIS listing for actionmarkers.com states that the hosting plan ends on 22 Aug 2006 at 17:57:54. (Meaning that Actionmarkers.com will no longer be accessible on this date.) I wouldn't expect Steve to renew the hosting plan. It probably wouldn't be worth it.

Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see on the 22nd.

Yes, it's a blowback. I liked playing with mine, but i eventually needed to get an electro (hooray tourneys), so it has been pushed to the side.

Pardon my ignorance which I am probably about to demonstrate. Couldn't that site be moved to an new host? I understand AM/Steve would probably have little to no interest in paying for the new hosting, but it seems like there are a lot of hosts now that offer very reasonable prices.

Yup, the site could be moved to a new host... But because hosting is paid for in a "subscription" style (i.e. there is a fee each month or so) costs grow as time goes on. Unless some noble philanthropic gentleman or lady would like to shoulder the fees for a long time, it wont work. Relying on donations is a hazardous road to travel, not just because of the lack of guaranteed funds, but also because designation of a single person to be responsible for holding the money and making the payments can be a little iffy.

~$60 for a year of hosting

but I'm sure you could find cheaper (you don't need 2gb of webspace with 30gb of transfer a month for a site like this) - I'm sure theres cheaper webhosts out there. but usually it's about 15 a year for domain name registration as well.

You know, we could get rid of some of those stickeys and copy/paste text and photobucket pics and make a big sticky at the top. I don't think it needs to be separate from teh nation.
