-It is better to have a new, sharp, X-ACTO Knife.

Ok guys, I was told by a friend of mine a way to mod your big JT soft ears to make them almost identical to legal mini precut soft ears. I haven't seen this done on Nation yet and never got the chance to search because I'm not an ASM
. But anyway, I had 2 pairs of extra soft ears so I made precut lookalikes. I took some pics to walk anybody who wants to do it through.
*First off, the easiest way to do this is to borrow someone's precuts, or trace them onto yours at a field or somewhere or you can just eye up the spots to cut but I recommend buying/borrowing real precuts. But anyway...
-Take your soft ears and the precuts and lay them side by side.
-Lay the precut earpiece on top of the big earpiece and line up the all of the vent holes, they should line up perfectly. Then, trace out the strap slot, and trace off all of the sides and corners. You can also just use a ruler and go straight to making cuts with the X-ACTO knife. This is what it should look like so far.
(If anyone can't see the black ink, here's a picture with the ink marked in yellow, but some of it is a little choppy, so use the first picture if possible)
-Use an X-ACTO knife and cut out where your lines are traced. Try not to stop at all when you're tracing or the cuts might not be as smooth. When you're finished your cuts, this is what it looks like. (This picture was taken by another person who kept the bottom piece on it)
-Should come out looking like this!
Hope this helps anyone who wants precuts
