Mitey Max....Any real benefits?

I'm looking at picking up a Viking real soon. I'm just wondering if the Mitey Max has any real benefits? It's been nearly two years since I last owned a Viking, and my Viking I owned then did have an MM on it, but i've only shot that Viking and never one that did have an MM. So are there any real benefits to an MM, or any benefits that justify the cost?

are you getting an '03 or '04? on '03's it doesnt do anything, but on '04's it gives you more shots per tank.

It does not give you more shots per tank... they do nothing...people will you tell you they lower pressure...they don't they are basically for looks ...so your gun doesn't look funny with just an scm sticking out...

Well, i'm not a big fan of looks. If I were then I wouldn't be getting a Viking. This is going to be a scenario gun so the utilitarian look will go well. I've heard the the MM reduces kick but I didn't know if that was just a product of the rumor mill or not.

save your money, even looks better if you have an scm, because it shows your smart enough to know not to waste your money.

the MM did not decrease the kick in any of my vikings or excals,
stick with the stock cap and cut an ounce in the process

I hope you meant the Mighty Max - I'm almost positive shooting a Viking without an LPR would destroy the solenoid.

Can't say I noticed the MM did anything either.

I don't see how it could in theory. Isn't one whole tube a giant volumizer on the Viking anyway?
