I don't know numbers, but a ripper 1 is way more rare/desirable than a classic.

The Classic isn't rare. To my knowledge, the Ripper 1 is the rarest Intimidator made besides the Flame.

There were only a few Rippers made (low hundreds) whereas there were thousands if not tens of thousands of Classics made.

The Ripper 1's were all a limited run of anodizing too. I've heard 8, 10 and 12 but can't say I've ever heard a straight answer on the exact amount. (i.e. the runs were in groups of 10, so there would be 10 black blue fades, or 10 gloss black rippers, etc.).

Couple the limited nature of the Rippers with the fact that the milling is arguably the best of all intimidators before or after, and you have a desirable marker.
