There's a strange lack of complaint threads...

It's pretty good. I've seen a few weak calls and some good ones. It's bad when a ref *****es about being at an event at 10am and wants to go home already. Some are more into it than others, you can see a few guys day dreaming out there. I will say that they have done a good job keeping the players apart and calming them down when something happens on the field. On Friday it seemed that they were calling Rosie every 1/2 hour, but it was much better today, 7 out of 10 overall.

One of our corners got a hit on his leg on the back and kept playing and the refs didn't notice it for like 2 minutes. When a ref finally noticed, he wiped it off.

It was pretty awesome.

The reffing seemed great on the NPPL field, but there were some big problems on the Spyder field. The Joy / NRG game ended in a huge dispute over a hit, and the refs / players argued about it for a good 8 minutes, delaying everything. This is just from my perspective, I obviously was not on the field myself, but it seemed flawed to me.

Did anyone see the game on the NPPL field where ref 66 held up the bunker? That was awsome!

Also there seemed to be a slight favortism for the New England Hurracaines. just wondering if anyone else noticed that.

i know the game your talking about, it ended in a 1 on 1, they shot each other, and then the refs walked around all confused, both players hung each others flags and randomly the game ended.

Maybe from crowd pressure, but there are always bad calls that help out every team. You just noticed it more today because the united crowd made a bigger deal about it when these mistakes helped the canes. I also happened to notice a few instances where the ref completely ignored crowd demands to check opponents, who were clearly hit.

I was watching the Live feed of the games, and the refing seemed fine. I did notice some weak calls, but nothing huge. I am surprised though, about Dynasty, XSV, and Ironmen all not making finals. That is a very rare thing to see. It is very weird.

Not your imagination at all. That game had some of the worst calls I've ever seen. A rage player moved up through joys snake, and took 3-4 OBVIOUS hits on his back on the way. When they finally got a ref to go in and check him, he was called CLEAN! He looked right at the huge orange spots on the white/red jersey and called him ****ing clean. Rage should not be taking that trophy home right now. The hit player knew he was hit, and gloated about it when the game was over. I can't wait to see videos and pics. Reff 22, if you're out there, I don't want to see you reffing in New England ever again.

There were plenty of other minor incidences where the refs were sleeping on the job, but none as serious as this call. Reffing was really good yesterday, but today... ugly.

The favortism towards the canes was definetly there. I remember in the spyder feild one of the canes got hit in the hopper, I was right behind the ref when it happened, and I said "****, he's out" and the ref didnt move. I was pretty loud too.

the reffing sucked today. there were clear instances of wiping on all the teams in the finals today and the reffs just stood there. the thing that got me was how ref 66 called a 1 for 1 on the evil team for when the player tried to bunker him and he shot him before he shoot his mask and the other ref was dealing with it and tells the player to wipe it and play and 66 comes out of noowhere and pulls the armband and calls a 1 for 1 ending the game and giving the win to whoever they where playing. also there were some baltent hits right infront of the refs and they go up and call him clean that ticks me off. another instance of the refs problems was in all the bushwacker games they favored them heavily i even saw some refs helping them baltently wipe hits and call them clean. like in a game today this guy has a baltent hit on the leg and plays the rest of the game with it and when the ref does spot it he goes up and wiipes it and calls it clean. .

another thing is when a player calls himself out and then the ref checks him and calls him clean and lets him rejoin the game after he called himself out. then there was the ref who stopped the final because he thought the player from joy was hit when he wasn't the evil team is right behind him and lights him up with no chance giving them win.

sorry for the rant but i had to get it out. the reffing to plain sucked. two in perticular but im not going to say #'s here. it just pisses me off when a team wins because of a reffs mistake.
again sorry for the rant.
