Exclamation Proper way for installing macroline??

Just wondering what is the proper way to install macroline ?

install the fittings. use teflon tape or whatever you want to get a good seal on the threads. insert one end of macroline into a fitting, see how much line you'll need and cut it about 1/2 inch more. Make sure you don't cut it on an angle. It needs to be a good clean square cut.

the reason I said 1/2 inch longer: now that you see how it fits and what it takes to cut macro line the first time, trim off the excess and your done.

Agree with byoung4now except I don't use teflon tape for the fittings. I prefer blue threadlock.
Aside from the straight cut, you may want to put a bit of lube on the end of your macroline before you stick it in the fitting. It can help to preserve the o-ring within. Air it up slowly the first time to make sure there are no leaks. Replace the macroline if it gets damaged in any way. (It's cheap enough.)
