Ok so I created a Wiki page on the scrathpad area of Wikia for the Wrath because I think it's a much better method of presenting, storing, and organizing information than can be accomplished in these forums. Because you're limited to whoever is maintaining the thread and info gets lost in the clutter. Anyone can contribute or edit. Please credit sources with links back to original work if it's not your own.

OK so you said it was produced by Diablo... actually Michael Spurlock Designed it he sold it to Diablo and they put there name on it it a company in Twian Produced it & NPS Distributed it.

Sorry, but I couldn't stand the horrible set up and hardness of navigation of that one, so I made one.

It's actually easy to navigate through pages.

AWSOME!!! It went from what's the difference in an acp cup seal- we need to change the stickys-how- a wrath wiki all in less then 24 hours.

So edit the Wiki and make the addition/correction. If it's a long story and you'd like to go into more detail make another page and link it in. I took all of 5 minutes to hash a basic first page and some demonstration links out so that there would be something there other than a blank page. I'll contribute as I find time and if there are enough contributions I'll get it moved off the scrathpad to it's own wiki.

I heartily endorse this over the Wikia page I created if for no other reason than it has a better URL. So long as it stays open without alot of the unnecessary editorial policing I've seen in some private wikis. I'm totally cool with using this one instead.

edit : Your page doesn't state what license the content provided to the page is distributed under. Have to make some effort to obey copyright (or copyleft). Need to get the permission of the authors of the FAQ threads and other notable information threads to use there work (or they can contribute it themselves).

edit2: does PMWiki support automatically creating talk/discussion pages like MediaWiki does? They're invaluable for things like the front page.

Yes that's the concept behind wikis but in reality the editorial power rests with who ever controls the big red button and some people can't be trusted with big red buttons (not talking about you I don't know you).

Added that the information will be under GNU, and if it's not your own work, to contribute the original author. It's right now only on the front page, but I'll add it to the footer.

There are mods that can add that.

I'm much more know and have been around in this forum much longer than you. I think most would trust me with the 'big red button' over you with it.

Based on your posts, I don't have a problem with either of you in charge of the big red button.

I had no power on the Wikia page. I started the page but had no control beyond that.
I'm not in a competition with you. I don't care so long as it gets done. If you want to do it fine. I went with Wikia because I've worked with them when they were wikicities. I know it works well with every feature I'd want and converting from the scrathpad area would have been easy. I'd have set up a wiki engine on my server space but I didn't want to piggy-back it on the site that I admin since it's totally unrelated to pb and I didn't want pb traffic stumbling into that forum.

Ok cool, if you could get the mod for the talk pages I'd like that. I'd rather pigpack off diabloowners than wikia. It is afterall already a known site devoted to the subject matter. If I get some time next week I'll make a localhost install of PmWiki and play with the layout some. See if I can't whip something up that fits in with the rest of the site. More control over that than we'd have at Wikia.

I've added a link in the footer called Discussions that'll edit, or create a new page, for discussions of that page.

EDIT- I added the Discussion link to the header, and made it use clean urls.
