Steelbraided-
Pros-strong,goodflow,durable.
Cons-looks ugly, cant cut it, pain to take off,

Macroline-
Pros-looks cool, goodflow, can cut to right length, and easy to take off
Cons-Can burst, can't take super high pressures.

Microline
Pros-looks cool, can cut, easy to take off, can handle almost all pressures
Cons-POORFLOW

micro line is only rated for like 400 psi.....

my friend does nothing but make custom ss hose and sell hose.

here is what he thinks-

ss hose is the best because it is highest flowing, and will never blow. macro line starts out being able to hold around 2200psi of air, but as it gets older and older, it holds less and less psi safly, until eventually it blows. Also since the material isnt extreamly consistant, u may have it blow right from the beginning just do to a really week little spot. He laughs everytime he sees micro line... nuff said just buy a hose that fits ur setup, and buy a quick disconnect and its a little more convienent, and will never let u down after sitting it out during a lunch break at a tourney by blowing 2 minutes before ur game.

Macroline is the best out of the afforementioned lines. Not only does it hold more than enough pressure, it breaks very VERY rarely, and it's not ugly as sin. I remember when everyone was into microline...boy that didn't last too long.

i still like microline a lot actually, i use it on all my guns, never has broken once on me...

also you guys forgot to mention hardlije which is metal piping that is made to fit perfectly on air fittings palmers guns use it, like my houndstooth, and some mags use it, however it has to be done usually by a professional and is a pain in the *** to work with/move around...

it does however, almost never have problems once it is put on, and i have never heard of it breaking...

theres a Variance of Macroline Called Mega Line...Its basically the same except its clear and a tiny bit thicker, in some cases its just clear.

Also there is another variance to SS braided line, that Colorlines stuff, its basically SS braided with Heatshrink tubing around it available in several diffrent colors.

I've seen people using a Slide check/Quick dissconnect with Macroline fittings. Whats the point? With SS braided I can see it but with macro...thats like Two Dissconnect points.

That would explain why my macroline said it could only hold 500psi. How would macroline hold 2200psi? Also i have run way over 400psi through microline.
