Mongoose solenoid dull click

Hey guys, not sure where to find information about an older mongoose ? I found the gun in the back of the closet (probably been there for 5+ years) and was only used a handful of times before getting my a5.

I was motivated to get it up and operational to use as a loaner for when me and my friends go to our field.

1. When I put a 9v into the grip the light will turn on but will not shoot. If i listen very closely I can hear a very faint/dull tick coming from the solenoid. The light even dims ever so slightly in sync with the tick. I tried several batteries to no avail.

2. Before I "stored" it back in the day, I could never get it to shoot past ~210-230 ish. A local field tried to help me for free and installed a tighter spring (red) with no luck.

Any info would be greatly appreciated and apologies if this is covered somewhere. Newer member to the forums. Thanks again.
