matrix v. nasty

I'm looking into getting a new marker. I'm a front player and I want to know which I should get: A matrix or a nasty imp.

i play front as well and though i dont feel any marker is subject to having be in a certain position on the field, i would say try a matrix. it is the heavier of the two mentioed but too me it just feel all around solid and shoots dead on.its also very quite. to attributes that a front player will like with this marker. granted they both have methods to prevent chopping and can both be shot rediculously fast. i just like the matrix as a whole better. also dont worry about the gas inefficency, your a front player and will get all your shots off with a 68.

I love imps, but for hardcore tourney ball a 'trix is probably your best bet, it's not as tall and with a trinity you won't chop, and there's no eye to slow your ROF.

it's not as tall

They are the same height, as they are based off the same stacked design...

no eye to slow your ROF.

The eye will not slow your ROF if you have a loader that can acutally keep up (meaning Evo2 or HALO B).

I own a Nasty and have owned a matrix. I really miss my matrix, it was #00063, it never worked. The matrices on the market now are sturdy as rocks, it's a wonder not everyone is shooting them.

As for my nasty, they're great guns but there are a few quality control things between the feed tubes and the normal quality control of smart parts that might raise a few eyebrows.

All around they're both great guns. With a few (hundred dollars worth of) upgrades, the matrix is a BEAST. Nasty's pack a lot of punch out of the box as well, so it's a matter of preference.

What stacked design to they have the same? One has the board in a tray, the other in the frame. The matrix doesn't even have any hammer or anything, to my knowledge it's one of the few guns with a spool-valve design. The impulse is another double-stacked electro, a bushy knock-off. I'm just wondering what design you were referring to.

I was wondering the same exact thing as mr_mich.

I just think matrices are damn great guns. Every person I let play with my matrix loves it, and there are some great upgrades coming out for matrices soon.
