High Velocity Paintball on Long Island

Anyone play there regularly? I'm heading there thursday night 8/23/01 to check out BYOP night. Would like feedback on the place before I go if possible.

You won't be disappointed that's for sure. Maybe one discouraging thing is sometimes there can be at least 20 players on the field at one time. it's crowded but doable. They use supair bunkers, which is usually changed around every other week. Also, remember to bring your knee pads. It's all played on a carpet like material that's excellent for sliding. Games are quick and furious, as soon as one game ends, another one starts within 5min of each other. You're sure to get at least 8games in. The competition is also great. There always be the local regulars as well as occasional appearences by players from GZ as well as other local am A and B teams. With at least 7 refs on the field, this is probably one of the safest fields to play at. Add the always curteous staff at the counter and you have a kick *** indoor field.

just awesome, after they put the black netting you can plan your attack before you play. And its pretty cheap if you go at high tech night. Its usually too expensive for me to go to PBLI.

if you're into:

- Speedball
- Competetive and good players
- BYOP
- Pro Shop with people who KNOW what a marker is
- Atmosphere that is friendly and welcoming

this is the place to go!

wish they had two indoor fields
and alternate between fields with a max of 12 players on each field.

Field is a bit small when it gets packed. Good thing about THAT is, on the break couple of em get out. Bad thing about THAT is, you might be one of em
