Diadem???

Ok guys my Team used to be sponsored by action markers and a few members bought Diadems. I know action markers is out of buisness and I'll buy one off my teamates if I can since this was before I was on the team but I had a tournament today and used one when my BKO reached it's limit for the day. Although I like my BKO I don't think it suites me right for a tournament. and I was thinking about buying a diadem for tournaments and using my BKO for rec and a back up? I just want to know what your thoughts are on this Idea since I can really get this gun shooting fast.

So please any advice on whaht I should do?

diadems are great guns. the only problem is finding parts and repairs could get difficult.

when diadems work, they're amazing. =] so if you can ensure you'll be able to fix your marker when it isn't holding up, go for it. (I've been very happy with mine)

Axe56 are you saying that they are problematic guns? the only problem I had with it that day was a dead battery. What are some of the other problems that occur with them?

i completely agree. the only times the dits hasn't worked properly (twice) was when the battery was dead from me sitting in the garage clicking it. i got to the field and couldn't shoot over 220. changed the battery and guess what worked like a champ.

on a side note, i was at a friends house and we were working on his guns and i went out back and was shooting with his halo on mine. it was rediculus how much faster it was than when i use my zboarded egg. i have a new found love for the gun , but want a vlocity since his halo crushed a ball.

Diadems are great, it lighter and more enjoyeable to rip on than my nerve. It's so ergonomic it's not funny . I just need to find a good lube for it. I'm thinking white lithium should be good, hopefully won't eat any o-rings

That might be true but I didn't ask for opions did I? no I asked for advice. I've given up on vs. threads becuase I got tired of people like you and the ion owner on pbstar who wasn't much older then me if any older and called me a cheeky kid and told me to buy a PM6. But thats another story so lets get back on topic.

Thanks to all the helpfull people who posted in this thread.

I have had a diadem for about 6 months and have shoot about 8000 rounds off and I have not had a problem yet. From my experience with the diadem you can spend hours playing and it will still work perfectly. All I do after each day of play is oil the bolt and the gun will work flawless next time I use it. I use a vlocity on my diadem and it feels balanced.

I've still got 1 brand new Diadem for sale and a pile of new Sentinels. None of them worked properly out of the box so we never tried really hard to sell them. Cool color fades though.

If you already have one keep it, but dont go buy one second hand I did and it broke and I got rid of it within 2 weeks. Try to find another gun for the same price new, where the company is still in business and getting parts, repair info and etc will be easy. But thats just my opinion.

plushdragon helped look for balloons
re:

with any of the am markers 2\3 of the parts can be found off the shelf.the only two parts on a dits that are not off the self is the board and the grip frame.with all the new 3 party micro pb boards out there replacing the board and wire harness wont be too bad.

How much on the Diadem, and what problems did it have? Also, are the Sentinels gen1 or gen2?
