Anybody tried larger ID lp hose inside their timmy? It should help even more in lowering the lpr pressure. Anybody know where to get larger-then-cocker hoses that will take 100psi safely?

larger hoses are a no go. THey are too large for the solenoid.

The solenoid uses an approximately .100 opening (approximately because i do not know the exact size). Cocker hose is approx .0625 (1/16). Going any larger means that you're going to run into filling the volume inside the hose before being able to fire the gun (which means it takes longer to cycle). As to whetehr it would reduce pressure, i'm not quite sure. It's just not feasible to increase your dwell by a large margin to accomodate larger hoses, possibly decreasing your pressure.


The current high flow barbs are as big as they can be, without being structurally too weak. You do have to be careful installing them becuase they are a little weaker than stock ones.

I want to drill larger openings in my solenoid and ram sleeve. I have some huge barbs(alot bigger than new ones) All I need is the hosing, where did you get it Marauder?

call up a pneumatics distributor in your area. They'll be able to get you any size and type of hosing you need.

Marauder- what's the ID of the hose you're using? I've found that anythign over the size of the barbs opening (which mine are .070) is too much (aka filling a volume instead of a quick cycle of the ram). I was using .078 hoses on my gun, but the 1/16 cocker hose works much better.
