Angry HELP!! Barb broke off

Had no idea it would break so easy, was trying to tighten it and it broke inside, so how do you get that bottom part out of the gun so I can try and figure out how to get the broken part out...

2 ways to do it.......

1. SHORT WAY
-get a small allen wrench that fits inside the hole of the broken barb.
-put a drop of superglue on the allen wrench
-insert allen wrench into the broken barb
-let it dry for a while, then twist it out carefully

2. LONG WAY. IF METHOD 1 DOES NOT WORK

Take the ram sleeve out.
-take bolt out of gun
-take gripframe off of gun
-remove the hose barbs on teh ram sleeve
-there's a set screw under the eye covers (approximately) and you need to remove that
-your ram sleeve will then come out
-using the ram sleeve cap as a grip, pull it out.

Then unscrew the ram sleeve cap from the ram sleeve.
Take the ram out (should slide right out).

Here's how to get the broken barb out......screw it right into the ram. You can use a small screwdriver, or take another hose barb and screw the hose barb in, it will push the broken threads from teh old barb into the ram sleeve. Shake the ram sleeve until the old threads from the barb fall out. You're all set then, well after you reassemble it

Hopefully this helps.

When i did this on my reg housing i found that it didnt break clean. There was a little lip that i could push on to screw it out.

I like the super glue idea A+

Do it the proper way. (Which also happens to be the easiest and probably one of the cheaper ways).

Go to home depot, go to the tool section and ask the person there where the "EZ-Out" sets are. (Thats a brand name, I believe they are technically called damaged screw remover thingamabobs). He/She will know what you want.

Once they point you in the direction, buy the smallest ez-out bit they have (should be a #1). They cost like 2 bucks.

Now go back home and follow the insructions on it. Its basically a reverse threaded tap, it digs into the screw/barb enough to grab hold, then unscrews it right now. Just place the tip on the damaged barb, and turn counterclockwise. It'll pop right out. I keep a no. 1 around, has saved me from broken barbs twice, and my friends a couple times too.

a very small screwdriver works as well it has to be smaller than the inner diameter of your hole. You hit it softly with a hammer so it dent the brass (as you noticed it's a soft metal so it is not too difficult ) now you use this dent to unscrew the thing.

If you don't feel comfortable, bring it to your nearest paintball shop. You'll hear a few laugh and some patronizing but they should do it properly.
