Help with timmy stock rise

Ok I tried searching for this and I know I saw it somewhere but I can't find it anymore so I'll just ask it again. HOW THE HELL DO I REMOVE THE DARN INTIMIDATOR HIGH RISE!!!!! I have tried sticky pads for grip and turned, I have used the boa constrictor (if anyone knows what I'm talking about) and it still wont budge. Now I know I have to remove the screw on the top and I have done this and it still won't go. Theres scratchs on the side of the rise from where somebody tried removing it with the screw in so I'm assuming it's been out before. So maybe they used locktite of some sort. Should I try using heat? Anyways please help cause the classic stock rise is SOOOOOOOOOOO ugly.

I'm not sure. You could try putting a little grease at the joint of the body and the feed tube. That might help a little. If you have just the body with none of the electronics or internals inside you could try dipping the feed tube part into hot water and then trying to unscrew it. That's all I can think of right now. Good Luck though.

If heat doesnt loosen up the locktyte, that sucker may be JB welded in.

That's a good sign. You should just keep going at it. A hair dryer sounds good. That should loosen up the loc tite if there is any in there.

I had the same problem removing mine. BLAST told me to use a hair dryer to heat it. Although heat should help, you'll probably still have to just wrench the thing off. Hope this helps!

I heated it up with a torch(removed the eyes and trigger frame first) and then put the feed tube in a black and decker workmate vise and turned the gun using the body for leverage. It was not easy.

Oh hell no that stock rise is the ugliest thing ever. I will definately clamp that f*cker in the vise . I'll let ya all know how it goes on wednesday. If you see a thread called "I've stripped my intimidators feed neck threads, now what?" you know I'm in trouble.

So I managed to get it off. Sure enough it was red locktite. I used a heat gun (I stripped all the parts off the marker first). Then I used a a gripper pad and pipe fitting tube and a wrench. It came off with out damaging any parts. So its all good for now. Later
