Etek 4 LT frame bends?

I just purchased an etek 4 lt. Noticed that it actually bends/twists at the trigger frame. No visible break in the composite. But it seems flimsy and unsafe. I'm wondering if this is normal? I haven't played a game with it yet, just shouldered it with a relatively light tank a small amount of force and this happened. Any insight is appreciated.

Tighten the bolts that hold the grip and frame together see if that helps

Thanks for the reply! All bolts are tight. The twist happens at about where the trigger guard meets the trigger frame. Its seems like the material used to manufacture the trigger frame isn't rigid enough. I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced the same issue and have insight into how to resolve it. I emailed PE with no luck.

Hmmmm that's a strange one. I have an etek 3 LT ... I don't have that issue, I wonder if you actually cracked the frame and just haven't noticed where.

I removed the grips and looked closely for a crack/fracture and couldn't find anything. If it's there it's small. I actually haven't played with the gun yet either. It's brand new out of the box. I attached the tank and shouldered it and noticed the flex of the frame right away. I'm thinking it's not normal. I'm having a hell of a time getting in touch with PE to resolve this.

I had an Etek3 LT and it flexed a little bit from the frame. I believe this to be normal. I never once noticed it in a game though.

A video please showing the twisting.

I use to own a Etek 3 LT, and the frame never gave me problems other than it shot like a cannon.

Had a couple of etek 3 LT and yes, the composite frames do flex a little. They still shot fine. Never had a frame crack or break on me.

The Etek3/4 LT frame does flex.

I can tell you that out of the 10's of thousands of Etek3/4 LT's we have sold we have had less than 5 frame breakages. The flex actually seems to work to absorb the forces from falling/diving with the gun.
