Plan on picking up a Freak back and getting that as well as all the silver parts anno'd purple. Prolly the unimount cage as well.

They generally, when they run into a problem, first check FAQS, research and look at online manuals (such as ZDPBS) to see if they can fix it themselves first, before crying to the threads and typing something along the lines of "OMFGWQTBFBQ MAI SHCKRE IS BROKEEDD IT DNT SHOT WEN I HT TRGRER".
This is why you get people flaming the Nerves. No pro teams shoot it, No hugely marked up price tag, and lack of people that use it (mainly because 70% of speedballers are under the 13 year age group).
People don't KNOW what the nerve is, so they just go and randomly flame it.
Don't ban me because of this, this is just my personal opinion.

so true,
to half those people, if dynasty/xsv/hk/whoever doesnt shoot it, it sucks.
unfortunately, nobody seems to be able to make an idiot-proof high end gun as of yet.
Its the guys who's stupid field/store owners/big brothers told them "everything but *insert general overhyped gun(s)* are for losers/nubs/poor people/f**s/w.e"

what do you dislike and like about the nerve
stock trigger wasnt up to par, you should get an option of s-rail or drop, sometimes the bolt assembly wont come out so u have to fiddle with it for a min or 2, and the bopard has ramping but no true psp, xball settings...and the board doesnt have the programming to see dark paint.
what do you think could be better if anything
light, simple, great stock parts, everything except the above
whats your best paintball story involving your nerve
it just shoots people all day, no real stories
whats the best thing about the nerve
the awesome stock parts and the price!!!

yesterday i had someone ask me if my gun was a spyder....
then someone else asked me if it was an angel....
and i said its a nerve... and the dude said nerd??? hehe
that was after lighting up all but one guy (kinda feel bad about that, but they were trying to bunker me, and were walking!!)

Dis like- Cant get it to shoot right it is the worst thing I have ever shot over the crono. It beeps at me when I try to shoot fast.
Like- If i can make it shoot 1/2 as good as my IMP I will love it. Becouse the only thing I dont like about my imp is that it is heavy.
If there are any Wizards with this gun PM me so I can figure this damn thing out. (I have looked in the FAQ and done all of that)

the nerve is an awesome gun, but it definitly isn't perfect (no gun is). On a Bone Stock nerve, these are the things i would change (first 2 go for the shocker as well)....
>Electronics - the board doesn't have a debounce adjustment! and its not as straight forward to adjust as other guns. the electronics are delicate. they should have designed it so that the board on the solenoid couldn't be cracked by the top grip frame screws. and i don't know about you guys, but my battery barely fits into the frame, it ends up putting a lot of forward pressure on the main board.
>the trigger/frame is a bit slopy. there are definitly better triggers on other guns.
>you have to remove the eye before doing anything with the hammer/valve assembly, this is a pretty stupid in my opinion. i would rather have a little bit of extra metal on the side of the gun to give the eye cable its own dedicated route to the gripframe.
>the SS back is heavy. I would rather have a color matched aluminum freak back.

the only 2 things I would change about the stock nerve board is having PSP legal ramping
and
makign it so the grip doesn't rub against it, makign it easier to break the board...that is the first thing I would change

Yup, it's up there.
Yes, it should.
We have a team for our college and we have 3 different fields for the school. We also host tournaments.
