this is exactly why it is total bull**** to let players fill their own tanks...and I can tell you right now that if a lawsuit comes not only would the player be sued ( if they knew who it was) but so would the owners of the property for letting non certified people fill their own tanks....I know this would greatly slow evrything down but the day will come when someone gets their *** sued off for this

Omfg, about a month ago, my fill nipple started leaking, so my dad told me to oil it. I'm not cheap though, so I said to stop at the shop on the way home and i'll buy a new fill nipple. At least I didn't listen to him about oiling it, because at the local field, they have self fill stations, and about 2 or 3 games later, I held the gun by the tank BETWEEN MY LEGS! I really don't feel like losing my balls.......
Thank's Ken, i'll remember not to do that.

Added to sig. I've always had a nagging fear of tank explosions. I'm posting this on my field's website.

when oiling the ASA, the instant you turn your tank on, that has about 300psi pushing on it to move into the gun. this is a new occurance to me, so thanks for the help.

Is WDP love juce ok 2 put in? I put a drop in yesterday when I changed my fill nipple. I thought it would be ok cuz its non petroleum baced and its supused 2 mist with the air. Also i used some grease on the pin thing that seals the nipple, its not petroleum baced eather, so should i clean it out or will i be ok?

Not flaming, but being a college student and having taken Engineering Chemistry, I must advise you that Nitrogen is in inflammible gas, the approx. 21-25% of oxygen in your HPA tank is the culprit behind the flash explosions. In theory (assuming 100% pure compressed N2) a fill from a commercially provided N2 tank would not cause the oil to flash, however an HPA fill (20%+ Oxygen) "WILL" make oil flash.
