hey i have a problem with sliding into snake or other front positions, i am going to need to play front for my new team i am going to get on, and i have no problem with that because i love getting up in all the action, but i always have to slide on my knees. everytime i go to slide headfirst, i slide and my gun gets grass/dirt/broken paint from the ground stuck in it, or i find myself hesitating. im not scared to slide or anything, i just wanted to know if u have any advice for me to slide a good 5 feet without messing up my gun/gear and making it a clean slide, not a horrible hard slide. thanks.
Push off with your feet and get your body as flat as possible. Turn both your hands to where your palms are facing you and hold your gun the same way you usually do, the hopper should be facing away from you. Land on your elbows, not any other part of your body. Next, let your knees hit the ground. This should get you the best slide.
yeah i think that will help me out a lot this weekend, my training this weekend is to make the snake/50 bunkers every single game i play, and i cant go to the same bunker twice in a row. =] should be fun.
I wouldn't suggest baseball sliding into a snake. But I guess if you can do it right and not get hit it would be helpful since you can shoot the whole way...it would still be really hard to get low enough though and not hang out of your bunker at all...
ill baseball slide into the snake but thats usually late in the game with the corner out so i can afford to come waaayy out on the tape. superman really is the best way to get in the snake on a dive. act just like its a slip and slide hold your gun palm up that should keep your barrel from taking a digger. use your off hand to soften the landing. if you really get desperate find some silicone and put it all over your jersey works on football jerseys ive heard.
