So will you be drilling a second hole for the exit fitting, or rigging up a T-shaped deal and just using the one hole?

Pntball Phreek: key words is "if you start to produce these". if will, I'll let you know, promise!
number1gog: all the information was marked 'top secret' due to high potential income)))))). Well, about secon hole: it will connect same as guages connects - they are one hole'd, just for in-flow. So, T-shaped barbs need to make 'insertion point'.

Why stop at a Timmy? Several other markers use a hose and barb system.

Looks great.

Yeah me too.. although not only toys... sometimes it was my parents favourite possessions... When I was about 6 I took apart my Dad's brand new electric razor and then hid the parts behind the toilet... it only took my parents a few hours to find them and chastise me.

Did you notice any resistance through to the solenoid.

Great idea man. It seem like over time it would freeze up tho. You may need to find a way to lube the piston so it would freeze up and blow the noid out. But if you need someone to test one, shoot me a pm and we can work something out. As for the copyright, i would get right on it. If you see some sucker rippig you off because he looked at this thread, you have solid proof of who's idea it was originaly.

yesterday I tested it - opens as required on 120 psi and stays open until all air from lpr are released. magic

izahuh: resistance? no - solenoid will receive same amount of air with same pressure from lpr, (and with same lengh of housing between them) so - nothing new to solenoid 'except' protection!))

dustinsobolik:tnx)))

PcPyrokid: this safe valve will not require relubing for apx 2-3 years due to low amount of inner parts moving. thanx for support!!!!! )))

how have you been testing that it opens at 120 -- just cranking up your LPR until your gauge reads 120 or do you have some type of tool??

what parts did you use to create this?? i am wondering, because if you dont "masss produce" these, i would be interested in making one myself for myself!!!

GREAT IDEA!!

yes, I attached one barb of safe valve directly to lpr barb, (with attached and folded microline to second of valve's barb to prevent air passing trough/out) and strats slowly raising lpr with gauge watching. It was opened at 120 psi as desired (and pre-measured by spring contracting before). Please lets wait few days till machinery will answer since I am keeping fingers crossed...
