Can we add a Grandfather clause?

No, this doesn't apply to me but it may at some point, and perhaps it has quietly applied to other players. It is conceivable that one year, starting the OGP someone qualified despite divisional classifications. It is possible the next year they do not, but are part of the team. In a situation like that can we address it to allow those to play through the rules. Though I am sure Kevin is fully capable of addressing each individual situation and making exceptions where needed this just might be easier?

you're saying something like if you're playing with Team AO now and joined Dynasty next year and thus became ineligable to play in OGD by being a member of Dynasty, that we would let you play, beacuse you were at one point during your OGD career, not a professional?

Did i understand that right?

i dont think thats what he means EPT, although i wish it was true, as i could have trauma at my disposal... hmmm

no i think lohman means that even though some players may want to progress up the ranks, playing d2 and d1 at some point, that they would still want to play the ogd, and would not want to be disqualified from this event, because of their ranking.

I'm sorry, started a topic and then snuck away. But your first idea is correct. Once you have played an OGD in the past two years (so if you miss one no big deal) you are eligible to play in future OGDs for the same team. So yes, even if I played for Dynasty this year, I would be eligible to play for Team AO still since I did last year etc.

No, this isn't to let bill recruit current Trauma players, but if Bill suddenly became a Trauma player he would not be DQed
